Our Pastor
John Pendleton has served as The Senior Pastor of Bardstown Baptist Church since January of 2025. Originally from Mobile Alabama, John previously served as a College Pastor in Jacksonville, Alabama. John and his wife, Baylee have two daughters; Rosemary and Landry. John graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018 with his Masters of Divinity. During his seminary years John volunteered on the youth ministry lead team at his local church, where he was able to teach and invest in the youth. John loves working out, running, trying new restaurants, reading and learning.
Director of Music Ministry
Wilma Ewing has served as The Director of Music Ministry at Bardstown Baptist Church since October 2026. Originally from Bowling Green, she graduated from WKU as music major in voice and taught music in LaRue County Schools for 30 years. Later, she studied church music for two semesters at The Southern Baptist Seminary. Wilma has led church music in three different churches, totaling more than 35 years. She is married to Roger Ewing and together they have three children and eight grandchildren.
