John Pendleton has been at Bardstown Baptist Church since January 2025. He and his wife, Baylee, have two children, Rosemary and Landry. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, John previously served as College Pastor in Jacksonville Alabama. John graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018 with his Masters of Divinity. During his seminary years, John volunteered on the youth ministry lead team of his local church, where he was able to teach and invest in the youth. John loves working out, running, trying new restaurants, reading and learning.

Carman Goodman Jones serves as the Music Director at Bardstown Baptist Church, where she feels deeply honored to use her God-given gifts to lead worship and glorify the Lord through music. A long time member, Carman grew up within Bardstown Baptist Church and treasures the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape her faith. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Eastern Kentucky University and is a proud 1993 alumna of the Governor’s School for the Arts. Carman has been married to Matthew, for 14 years, and together they have two children, Madeline and John Clayton.

Katie Scott has been a member of Bardstown Baptist Church since February 2023. She and her husband, Dylan, have 3 children. Before she began homeschooling her daughters, Katie was a high school social studies teacher in Tucson, Arizona. Teaching and making learning fun is her passion! Katie earned her Doctorate in Education from Baylor University in 2022 and her Masters in Education from The University of Arizona in 2012. In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and hiking.
